Nancy Lee - Me and My Piano
Alaska was annexed from Russia and not yet a state. My brothers and I grew up playing in and around the mountains, skiing in the summer on Byron Glacier. We would haul our skis 3/4 of a mile on a bear trail and take turns shaking a coffee can with rocks in it to scare off the bears. Then we would walk up and ski down the glacier until exhausted. Fun times!
"This book gives the reader a great slice of the true frontier Alaskan experience. Nancy Lee has walked the walk....her stories are heartfelt, exciting and inspirational."
-Charles Heath Jr., father, teacher, Alaskan author and gold miner.
I lowered my book price so everyone can read about majestic, rugged Alaska. People I have met have been and want to go back or want to go there and this book can show some wonderful places to visit. My stories are true but some don't believe it! It was and still is a fantastic life!
